  • So I had $3,400 Left on My loan...

This was after making a $1500 payment on my SCHOOL LOANS...

    2 wks later..

I now see the balance as $0.00.

Now I did not make that payment pay off the rest, I knew I still had $3,400 to pay..

All it on my statement online it's $3,400 was paid from source, 'other'.
All my other Payments say, 'Edpay'..

    Isn't this weird???

This was "paid" on the 16th of this Month.. My last payment was on the 30th..

Funny thing is, I don't even wanna call them up and say, "hey hey, it's a mistake" lol..

I was thinking Maybe It was a reward from them since I was paying it off soooooo agressively.. but YEAH RIGHT...

This is one of those times where you should ignore the proverb and go ahead and look the gift horse in the mouth. Call and clarify the situation. Otherwise, it could come back and bite you later. Sounds like somebody made a mistake and zeroed your account. Maybe they applied somebody else's payment to the wrong account. In any case, you want to clear it up so that you don't get hit later with a late charge or other fees.

Your servicer changed. If you were using direct loan servicing, your new servicer is most likely mohela. If you did not get a letter about it, just call the regular customer service numbe and there will be an automated response about it telling you how to contact the new company.
