      In KY, the title changed to "Rebuilt".

        Yeah, there's no harm in buying a salvage car. Salvage is a title given by insurance companies. Insurance companies declare a vehicle a total loss when the cost of a car’s repair exceeds its value. The state motor vehicle agency then issues a salvage title once the car has been repaired.

          When you find any salvage car for auction then better make sure you carry someone technical fellow along with you for a thorough inspection process.
