I've heard money referred to as the president that is on it. For example, "Give me a couple of Jackson's," or "I ended up with a Jefferson," ($2 bill). Is this just for American money? Because quid comes to mind for British.

That was my thought, too. I often hear $100 bills referred to as "Bens".

I had a friend who's a bookie, who would refer to 100s as "bills" and 1000 as a "stack". Dunno if that's more of a gambling term or overall common thing.

I didn't notice that there are specific terms for different denominations but I'm familiar with the general terms. Heard about the term quid as one of my friends used it before. I use the terms moolah, breads, funds, and bens to describe money.
