  • MONSTER'S List of Top Ten Cities to Find a Job

Clearly some industries offer better opportunities for specific skill sets like San Fransisco for Information Technology. Kansas City for Marketing. Demand is outstripping supply of health care workers. Monster's suggest checking out opportunities in: DC, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Boston, Minneapolis, Orlando and Seattle.

I applied for jobs in Seattle the 3rd week in February, interviewed the first week in March and started working 3 weeks later! I tried in NJ and got no where for months. We've since moved to Seattle and couldn't be happier. FWIW, I'm an accountant (managerial accounting, not public).

Sweet, Minneapolis is still on the list! I gotta be keeping my eyes open in the Twin Cities, just in case
"I'd buy that for a dollar!"
