I'm not a moderator, just wondering.
But seriously, I wouldn't mind a link for each user's post/response similiar to "Add to Favorites". You guys send out great advice, and it would be nice to simply copy or archive a specific statement(s) that stickout instead archiving the whole topic/posts and combing through the comments."I'd buy that for a dollar!"

I think the 'permalink' button just generates a link directly to the post you are referencing. But I just tried it on a post in here and it didn't save it anywhere in my Control Panel.
So half and half. You'd have to save the link yourself. But if you wanted to reference a specific post in another thread like a:
"I just replied to a topic just like this at http://www.savingadvice.com/forums/g...tml#post281315 "
Then you could use the permalink button to generate the link directly to the post you want to reference. It generates in the web address line, then you cut and paste into your post.
But I think you're wanting like a 'Favorite Posts' folder in your control panel. To list all your favorite replies? I don't think that exists yet - or at least I haven't seen it. But I don't even know how to list my favorite threads! hah Only the ones I reply to
