Actually health insurance then is bunk. We should all just pay Out of Pocket for ourselves.

Thus all fat people, diabetics, etc go screw yourself. All healthy people will not pay much, and all unhealthy will.

Oh and if you are super healthy, 31, female with breast cancer who has a BMI of 21, works out, screw you too for the rest of your life. You should die because who can really afford treatment like chemo? Breast augmentation afterwards? Breast removal to begin with.

Oh and only natural childbirth at home. Because you don't want to pay for complications.

Insurance is just a pool of risk. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Kinda like taxes.

      Absolute, 100% PURE BUNK.
Then global warming is 100% PURE BUNK and we shouldn't do stupid crap like carbon credits, etc.

I tend to agree with you.

That makes no sense. Are you saying the USSR was known for its individual-friendly stance on reproductive freedom?

No, I refer to the USSR's redistribution of the wealth of the Kulaks (the once existing middle class) to the peasants. Central planning, privatization of industry...those are socialistic trends we now see in the USA.

There is no question about global warming happening. It is!

The question is: Is man causing it with his carbon footprint or not? Is it cyclical?

I agree with this 100%. Man made global warming (oh, haven't you heard? The current buzzword is "climate change") IS pure bunk.

People who bother to work, not have more kids than they can afford, and not live off the government pay more taxes already.
I support energy tax credits. great idea.

No, you are incorrect. There is plenty of debate and to question as to whether the planet is warming or not. Sorry. Perhaps you choose not to listen.

I don't understand what difference it makes whether you believe global warming exists or not. Either way, how can anyone not support the changes that are happening as a result: promoting alternative energy sources, reducing waste, encouraging recycling, cutting down on pollution, conserving energy, etc. Whether you believe the science or not, those are all good things for the planet.

It makes a huge difference. It makes a huge difference if govt are going to invent taxes on CO2, carbon, etc that will rob people and destroy businesses. It makes a huge difference that we do not base our policies and play economic roulette with fuzzy science. It makes a huge difference to pursue "alternative" energy which is no more clean or useful than other energy. We have HUGE energy resources already in existence in oil, coal, shale, and nuclear energy which could easily be tapped and harnessed and which are reliable safe energies.
It makes a huge difference to not allow our economy to be held hostage by climate phony baloney. And, it is going to result in the loss of lives as we depower and destroy the quality of life for everyone in terms of living the windmill fairy tale. So, no, I have no wish to hang my future nor the future of my country on this false nonsense which would destroy our present economy, hold us hostage to the world if we sign that agreement in Copenhagan and destroy my children's future. I cannot get on board with that.

It is you, that has choosen to ignore the FACT that the artic is now a watery ocean. Perma-ice is gone, and for the first time in thousands of years. The artic is now a shipping lane...first time EVER! In addition, the solid ice floats in the antartic have significantly shrank...this is fact, and how do you explain that?

You need to do the research and once you have, you too will see that the earth is in fact heating up.

The only unknown is whether this warming up is caused by men or if it is just a natural cycle of events.

Global warming is a fargone conclusion for scientists the world over.
