    Exile, I've been wondering... what part of the Phillippines are you living? I grew up in Guam, and my family's there now, so alot of my friends were all Filipino, and i've just been wondering where you're hailing from exactly.

      Trust me I know it's a choice to live where I live. I want to and hope to move to somewhere cheaper. But at the end of the day it's my choice.

        What in the world was the point of this thread then? To pat yourself on the back? What you managed to do with your finances is to be applauded but you could have worded it better.

          IMO, the point of the thread was to say that being on an fixed income is no excuse for not paying your debts. Exile uses himself as one example that even someone on SS can find a way to live within their means.

            DW and I live in community called Eastwood City which is located on the east side of Quezon City.

            See maat55's comment as quoted below. As I indicated in my previous posts, Maat55 "got it". Perhaps if you had been equally attentive, you might also have understood it.
