OMG. What happened? (Feel free to ignore that question as it really isn't any of our business.)
I hope things work out for the best, whatever that may be.

oh wow. Sorry to hear about that but if it does happen it might be in your best interest. You might not see it today but you will see it in the future.
Yes losing money sucks, but its not the time to worry about it.
I know we all handle these things different, but I really think there are more important things here to try to salvage/think about other than the money lost...
wow. I am sorry about the terrible blow. Its amazing how quickly life can rearrange things. Don't make any hasty decisions right now, let the dust settle- things might be in a state of flux now for a while where you dont know which way is up or down, left or right. But we are here for you, so feel free to vent or complain.
I guess I am going to try to write letters to the DJ, Photographer, Venue, ceremony musicians and cocktail musicians and see if I can get my deposits back...I doubt it since they are nonrefundable, but it is worth a shot.
10k....when was the wedding? Thats a lot of $$$ to be in. I made it a point of holding all cash until the bitter end. I kept prewritten out checks with my Maid of Honor and paid as I saw people show up. lol. My husband thought I was nuts.
Youre an excellent planner. You can handle anything!

If not, maybe you can get a credit to be used whenever you do get married, even if it is years away, or just throw some other kind of party.
See if you cant get a "credit" towards something else. Then use your DJ as a gift to a friends wedding (kind of a nice gift!), a photographer for next christmas...ect. I have no idea if they would go for that, but I would if I was a vendor.
You just ended the wedding yesterday...wait to communicate with vendors until this is final final. Usually during the first week or 2 of a breakup, things are still uncertain.
your wedding is in September, you have time.
