Anything stolen?

I walked out to my brand new Wrangler last week to find it up on cinderblocks because theives were attracted to my upgraded tires. They stole the rims/tires/luggnuts/and tirelock key. AND MY IPOD!

$1850 altogether to replace- my insurance gave me $1200- and I still couldnt get the upgraded tires I had previously.

BUMMER.

That's terrible! I remember your picture on your blog. I couldn't imagine walking out my front door and seeing that!

as far as reporting small crimes to police I never do ,not only do they not do anything about it( what could they do?) too many calls could cause your area to be considered blighted and from what I have read they can take blighted areas away away and give them to developers, several of my homes are in iffy areas that are "up and coming "

This was in down town Dallas when I was at a friend's loft for the Super Bowl. I think down town Dallas is already considered a crime mecca, anyway, so my call didn't do anything to the stats! But it isn't as bad as NO, as a previous poster points out!

I left one of my work shirts outside to dry on the ledge in front of my apartment and someone stole it within 15 minutes while I was gone to the store.

No, not yet. Hopefully if anyone tries I will not be home. 2nd Amendment security systems protects my house.
