  • Introducing Abigail Elaine

Okay, the blessed day arrived ... well about a month ago, sorry it has taken me so long.

The labor was wayyyyy to long. 23 hours 10 minutes. Or there abouts. My water decided to break before my contractions really started, and thus the long labor. Really the first 10 hours I was so excited (big mistake) that I really didn't care. I wanted to go all natural and was handling the pain fine, but the stupid clock was against me, because of risk of infection due to the water breaking, that I had to get things moving, so I ended up with an epidural and pittosin (sp?). They only give you 24 hours before they want to do a c-section and I wanted to aviod that! But I made is about 20 hours with no pain meds. Hubby did pass out when I was getting the epidural, poor guy isn't good with things like that. We made sure he was sitting for the actual delivery. The delivery wasn't bad at all (I am sure the epidural made it much better). I push for not even 10 minutes and she came out screaming. Check out the hair!

    Oh the stats:

Okay, I just saw them by going back to the main menu and clicking on the paperclip. Sa'llllllright!!

You can put pictures inside your messages if you have a URL for them.
While you are creating a post just click on the little yellow picture up above next to the globe in the toolbar and put in your url -
and it would show up inside the message - like this:

She's adorable!! GREAT JOB Mom!!! Dad's got to get his sea legs under him!

Y'all go back to the main menu where boefixepa's message is listed. Beside the title of the message there is a paperclip symbol. Click on that and there are links to two photos of the sweet baby.

Abigail Elaine is looking very together for a newborn. And that is a lot of hair!

                          Adorable!

My water broke before labor too..so annoying and stretched out the labor tremendously! ugh.

Glad you are both healthy and well.
