I don't get that. I have one survey company that only uses paypal, so will I have a charge for them transferring money to my account? Most of the people on this forum are really great about answering questions and I appreciate as well as Ima does. Some of us aren't that knowledgeable about these things.

I just got my first ATM card and used it for a withdrawal rather than writing a check to myself. Plus, you never know when you will need to use it.

If you have a personal PayPal account, you won't be charged for receiving money. The limitation of the personal account is that you can only receive $500 a month (I believe), and you won't be able to accept credit card payments if you sell stuff on eBay. I had to upgrade my account to Premier in order to be able to accept credit card payments, so now PayPal charges me about 3% of each payment that I receive. Withdrawing money from PayPal account into your linked checking account is free for all types of accounts.

When paying for something with Paypal pay for the item in full with your credit card. That way if there is a problem you can do a charge back with your credit card.

I also heard their MMA account rate isn't that bad so leaving some money in there instead of your checking account would get you some interest.
I leave the money from my Ebay sales in Paypal. I believe the MM is over 5% right now. Then I use that money to buy things I need, or transfer it to my checking account as needed.

I just used my palpal account for the first time because one of my survey companies only use paypal. It was so easy. The money from the survey company went right into my accoount and they notified me that it was sent. I requested the money to be sent to my bank account. No gas, no wondering if it gets lost in the mail. It was easy.

When you buy something online you want to pay for the item in full with a credit card. That way if there is a problem you can file with your CC company.
