  • Pay Pal question

Hello, I've been thinking about selling stuff on eBay using Pay Pal and some of the survey places say they can pay you through Pay Pal. My question is if there a way to get the money out of pay pal. If so, is there a fee to cash out?

I've tried to look and there is information about how to put more money into my pay pal account, but I haven't found a straight answer about taking money out. I think using pay pay would be good but not very useful for me if I can't get my money out of it.

    Thanks for your help!

There's no charge for withdrawing your funds from Paypal into a domestic bank.

The fees as you can see are pretty much when you receive money, not when you cash it out.

That being said, I thought you had to have a minumum to cash out? Like if you have $10 only in there, you can't withdraw it. What is the minimum anyway?

I just transfer the money directly to my checking account.

Oh - those above aren't all the fees.

The minimum to withdraw by ACH is $10 - max is $500/month.

You can request a check but the cost is $1.50.

You can withdraw from an ATM for a $1 fee.

All the different fees and limits are mind boggling if you ask me. (& hard to find).

But personally, using ACH to my checking account has been great and free.

I also transfer funds directly to my bank - haven't had a problem.

They indicate there is a minimum to withdraw, but I have withdrawn less than $5.00 before with no problem.

i have a debit card and I use it to pay for stuff like a credit card instead of transfering the money.

I've used it to withdraw as little as $2 with no problems.

I've drawn less than $1. For free. I had to wait about 3 days but no big deal.

When you want to buy something from let's say Amazon or Ebay, would it be to your advantage to have money in your paypal account or should you just let them take it from your banking account.

I just signed up and don't know all of the ends and outs of it yet. Is it to your advantage to keep some money in there> Also, I listed my credit card number with them. Any information would be appreciated.

I don't have any money in my Paypal account. I just have it linked to my banking account and have it taken right from there. I don't know of any advantages to having the money in the Paypal account itself. Maybe it's a little quicker? I also heard their MMA account rate isn't that bad so leaving some money in there instead of your checking account would get you some interest.

I have never used pay pal, so any information any one can give, would be great.

You can get a PayPal debit card and use it, or you can transfer the $$ directly into your bank account (I've never heard of a minimum here). Maybe the minimum mentioned above is for receiving a check from PayPal?

paypal only charge you when you recieve money, withdrawing is generally free unless you are withdrawing very small amounts.
