I find that I tend to make my grandest resolutions in the late summer rather than with the arrival of January. I tend to think of September as being the beginning of a year (school year). Anyway, no new resolutions; just need to stick to what I'm doing. If something new comes up that I want to take on, I'll consider it.

Financial:
1. Increased 401k contribution from 12% to 15%.
2. Continue monthly pre-payments on my mortgage all year long.
Personal:
1. Continue to find new social outlets, such as my book discussion club.
2. Get weight back down to 119 (ideal). Would be happy with "under 125."
This means: more walking again. Doing 15 minutes of stair stepping DAILY.
I am gonna save $300.00 a week!! Please pray that I can do this. My oldest son turns 16 by this time next year and i'd like to buy him a small truck and pay cash! It will definately be used and cheap! Being it's a first car for him, I don't want to spend alot of money and I don't want to finance anything. He would help me pay for it if I financed it, but I don't want either of us to be paying interest on a car loan! I also want to pay cash for Christmas next year, and just have extra cash period. I have figured a budget and I think I can reasonable save $300.00 a week. I sure hope I can!!

300 a week is excellent. i need to pay that a month on my final debt! go for it!
Max out my Roth IRA contributions, bump up my 401K contributions, finish up a few projects that I have going on around my house; namely getting a gas line run out to my garage to finally get heat out there, getting 220 service out there for my air compressor, staining my deck, finishing my shed, finishing my gutters, and putting a drain pipe across my driveway. Other than that, just keep working away at finishing up my MBA. All that should keep me busy most of '07.
I want to be able to follow my budget, and adjust it where necessary, also I am hoping to save up $5000 by September so that I can afford to start at a university.

I spend way too much trying to feed 5 people dh eats as much as me & my 3 daughters put together OOUCH!!! I can save a ton maybe start a new house fund with the savings & my 2nd is to keep making as much as I can I have started tracking how much I bring in & I am in shock I am making alot now compared to years past. I am very proud of myself!!!
I want to get a permanent part time job, live very frugally, and still save at least 10% of my income into a retirement fund. At the moment because I am temping I save as much as possible to tide me over between jobs.
continue to keep my nose to the grindstone...stick with budget, but give myself some more perks, i need to buy new clothes(not bought any in 3 years), eat out a little more(not a lot, i never eat out now), try to be a better husband, continue to eat as good as possible, continue working out, stay active in these forums, start a 401k....
