How much do you spend on dining/groceries/household

I could easily spend over $500 just on Thanksgiving, and sometimes I would have to host Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

We hosted "Thanksgiving" last year in our new home. We usually spend on average $300 during Thanksgiving. Somehow we got lucky as most brought their favorite dishes which helped curtailed our expenses in the end.

hosting can be really expensive. So is making holiday cookies or bread or something homemade for teachers. I make usually a holiday cookies and chocolate dipped pretzels and it costs me a fortune.
