Our town is 'pay as you throw' and we have to use special town trash bags with the logo on it....They cost $5 for a pack of 4.

We bought them once, and then DH asked if he could use the dumpster at work.

When I was a kid, we didn't use bags at all! We just dumped it in there. But then those darn garbage companies got all uppity!

Reminds me of the trash company in New Orleans... their motto was "Our business stinks, but it's picking up!"

We made the switch to using plastic grocery bags 2 months ago, and its nice to know that we wont be buying things that you are just going to throw away!!!
