I am going to go out on a limb and say that the people who don't bath often have serious financial problems in real life. Those who don't bathe often tend to have no jobs or jobs that are lowly paid and personal hygiene is not important. That is just purely sick and nasty. I am glad you don't work near me or for me. I'll send you home and suspend you without pay.

How often do you bathe - take a shower?

I shower once a day, before bed. I work out most days and not showering after working out is just gross to me. I also wash my hair daily. I've heard you're not supposed to, but all hairdressers I've ever gone to have commented how healthy and beautiful my hair is and always ask what I do to it.
And for those who do not shower daily I don't get how you guys do it! I'd worry that I smelled bad and others could smell me but I couldn't smell myself.
Awkward.

Every day
I'm 13 and since my body is going through changes, I feel more comfortable and confident if I shower every day.
I usually don't shower on the weekend unless I'm going out of the house or seeing friends.
My parents shower every day too. My 7 year old sisters take a bath once a month or so, lol.
I usually take a shower in the morning, but sometimes I take a shower at night, which means that's two showers per day.
I know that water can be expensive, but my parents said that I don't need to worry about it unless I'm taking hour-long showers, and mine usually only last 15-20 minutes. (I spend a lot of time on my hair, being a girl
)
Also since my sisters rarely bathe that kind of makes up for it.

Anyone tried this?
I've heard that your hair gets oilier the more you wash it. So if you do it daily and then decrease the frequency, it will feel very oily at first. But then the more you do it, the longer your hair will last without getting oily. Has anyone tried this? I would love to cutback on shampoo and water usage. But I've tried it and only been able to last a couple of days. Thoughts?

I do it daily and when I'm on a hike or get too much sweat, I shower again in the evening. I think it's better to be clean physically so you could save more never having to spend so much on medicines or even the hospital if you get sick because of hygiene. This is especially for the women. For guys, we are flexible, for me

I don't bathe anymore, it's a waste of time for me and I don't like to soak in water for this long. I do shower DAILY. 2 or 3 times/day if it's summer and I sweat. While I like saving money, I don't want to not enjoy life as a clean healthy adult. I'm a woman, 33 years old. I NEED TO SHOWER daily. Don't know (and don't want to know) how I'd smell otherwise

WOW. This is an old old post. Now they shower every day, several times and day!!!Originally posted by mom-from-missouri View PostDaily for me and my oldest daughter (she has too, as she has very oily hair). Every other day for my youngest two daughters. During the summer though, if they don't swim it will be daily, as they get so dirty playing outside vs being at school. If they do swim, we sometimes skip a day.
have i really been a member on here that long???
