Well, this has been a red letter day for me. First I received an email with a job offer saying this company would love to hire me to be their bookkeeper and I could work at home while making deposits of checks sent to me. That was exciting because a) I'm not a bookkeeper or accountant and b) I didn't know I was looking for a stay at home job. But, the day got even better. I received yet another dozen emails wanting to help me with all my sexual problems. But, wait, it gets better! I received some "friendly" notes telling me what stocks to buy. But the icing on the cake was the phone call from some group saying I've won a leadership award and that I needed to call their toll free number to hear all about it. I simply do not think I could have an a better day. First a job offer, then people helping me with my intimacy problems (do you think they will be crestfallen to find out I don't have male anatomy because I'm female?), what good stocks to buy, and winning an award I've never heard of! Anyone else have such a prosperous and successful day like me?

Yesterday's best-of-show was a long, chatty missive from a Chinese bank manager who sought my assistance in appropriating a $30 million account left unclaimed after the owner died tragically in an air crash.

I got 99 emails yesterday. I am always offered 20 or 30 million a day. I wonder why my husband has to go to work everyday? I win dozens of prizes every day too! But I never see them. Does anyone fall for this?

I feel like such a loser. I almost never get any of these offers. I'm going to cancel my Earthlink and McAfee spamblockers because they are preventing me from getting these lucrative deals.

Is it just me, or have they stepped up the offers lately? I just deleted 10 out of my mailbox and usually they are put in my spam folder automatically. On Thursday I received three of the same one from different sources saying I had been entered into a Microsoft drawing and would thousands of dollars. Plus, there has been at least two each day asking me to help the poor dying widow who need to transfer money. Yikes!

I have noticed that since I have requested freebies that my box is full of unwanted mail and I have to add it to the spam area. I'm sure there is a reason they're giving away things free

Disgusting. Incidentally, you can congratulate me on having been one of the winners of the British Lottery -- twice. (No, I didn't enter. My name was randomly selected.) All I need to collect is tell them where I want the money deposited. Any old bank account will do.
