How to lose $6 REALLY Fast!!!!!!!!! THIS REALLY CAN MAKE ME EASY MONEY!! IT WORKS!!! (please note the number of exclamation points and capital letters I use, because the more I use, THE MORE BELIEVABLE I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroups and websites, just like you are now, and came across an article similar to this that said I could make thousands of dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00!!! (more believable exclamation marks!!)

So I thought," Yeah, right, this must be a scam, but if it's a scam why not continue to scam more people. It's the American way!!"

I was now very curious, so I kept reading. Anyway, it said that you send $1.00 to each of the 6 names and address stated in the article. You then place your own name and address in the bottom of the list at #6, and post the article in at least 200 newsgroups. (there are thousands and you know how much everyone loves SPAM)

No catch (that I am going to share with you anyway), that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first (to make it look like I have thought through this carefully and give you more confidence in my truthfulness), I thought why should I have the money sent to six people I How to lose money $6 REALLY Fast!!!!!!!!! No catch (that I am going to share with you anyway), that was it. So after thinking it over, and talking to a few people first (to make it look like I have thought through this carefully and give you more confidence in my truthfulness), I thought why should I have the money sent to six people I don't know? I will just make fake addresses and PRETEND that they are six different people so I'll get all $6.00 instead of just $1.00 from each person who replies!!!!

I figured what have you got to lose except 6 stamps and $6.00, right? It's not much and and I will convince you to say, "why not, it's only $6.00 and stamps" and send me the money.

Like most of us I figure you are more than a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it all. So I'll lie and say "I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-USA-POSTAL) - listing this phone number is a good idea - it makes it look like I'm telling the truth and I know you're not going to call and even if you did, it doesn't work) and they confirmed that it's indeed legal!!" (more exclamation points - of course they didn't confirm anything because I never bothered to call the number - all I'm trying to do is get your money)

Then I tell you to send me a measly $6.00 (small amount, you can afford to give it to me and since all the addresses are mine, I get it all) plus postage. Well GUESS WHAT!! (more capital letters and exclamation points in combination - now I'm really TELLING THE TRUTH!!!!)... within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail (of course, I have it rigged to get all the money)! I was shocked! (that people were actually stupid enough to send me their hard earned money) I figured it would end soon (because how many people could be really be that gullible to believe me and send money?), and didn't give it another thought.

But the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00!!!!!! (oh, I love those exclamation marks! A huge exaggeration because these schemes never work at getting more than a few dollars except for people like me who rig the system, but big numbers look better) In the third week I had over $10,000.00 (bigger number still!) and it's still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 (I like that number - not too huge, but still a nice big number) and it's still coming in rapidly....... It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the lottery!! (again, I'm convincing you to the insignificant amount and since you are willing to gamble on the lottery, this gamble is no different - you'll lose your money both ways!)

Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works (well, why it works for me)....also, make sure you print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it as you need it. (because if you leave, you 'll forget my 6 addresses and maybe find someone else's 6 addresses and that means he will get your money and not me)

The process is very simple and consists of 3 easy steps:

STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper "I'M GIVING YOU MY MONEY! I GIVE IT TO YOU FREELY AND I KNOW I WILL NEVER GET IT BACK!" Now get 6 US $1.00 bills (or equivalent in your local currency) and place ONE inside EACH of the 6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope to prevent thievery (LOL, don't I sound honest telling you that there are people who are not honest out there!).

Next, place one paper in each of the 6 envelopes and seal
them. You should now have 6 sealed envelopes, each with a piece of paper stating the above phrase and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a service (for making me money) by doing this. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! (I have to tell you this again with capitals and exclamation points just in case you're having second thoughts)

Mail the 6 envelopes to the following addresses:

    #1) Donation: 150 W 22nd Street, Fifth Floor, New York, NY 10011

#2) Donation: 121 Habitat Street, Americus, GA 31709-3498

    #3) Donation: 2925 10th Ave. North, Suite 102, Lake Worth, FL 33461

    #4) Donation: 2100 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20037

#5) Donation: 801 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10017

    #6) Donation: 1130 17th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036

STEP 2: Now most people would tell you to take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc...) and add YOUR Name as number 6 , but since this would be an ILLEGAL PYRAMID SCHEME, I won't tell you to do so. Just leave all the names and address the same and keep sending me the money!!!.

STEP 3: Now, most people will tell you to post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups. Since this is called SPAMMING and there isn't a single person in the world who likes it, I will not tell you to do this. Instead, just copy and paste this as a response to any SPAM Illegal Pyramid schemes that others post so everyone knows how foolish it is and send me money instead.

Don't know HOW to post in the newsgroups? Most people will teach you exactly how to do this because if you don't know how to post in a newsgroup, you are probably new to the Internet and the exact person I'm looking for, but as I mentioned before, this is SPAMMING and looked upon unfavorably by everyone.

All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post away this response to the Illegal Pyramid schemes since the newsgroups will be full of them. After you get the hang of it, it will take about 30 seconds for each newsgroup response! **REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY I WILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO POST A MINIMUM OF 200 RESPONSES** (to guarantee I make at least some money) That's it! I will begin receiving money from around the world within days!

I will tell you may eventually want to rent a P.O. Box due to the large amount of mail you will receive (a large amount of mail means a large amount of money for me). If you wish to stay anonymous (because in your heart you know it is an Illegal Pyramid scheme - why else would you want to stay anonymous?), you can invent a name to use, as long as the
postman will deliver it. **JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT.** (because that is the only way I receive my money).

Now the WHY part (a nice looking explanation to get you excited that has no meaning in reality): Out of 200 postings, say I receive only 5 replies (a very low example). So then I made $5.00 with my name at #6 on the letter (you would only receive $5 if you were doing the scheme. Now, each of the 5 persons who just sent me $1.00 make the MINIMUM 200 postings, each with my name at #5 and only 5 persons respond to each of the original 5, that is another $25.00 for me, now those 25 each make 200 MINIMUM posts with my name at #4 and only 5 replies each, I will bring in an additional $125.00! Now, those 125 persons turn around and post the MINIMUM 200 with my name at #3 and only receive 5 replies each, I will make an additional $626.00! OK, now here is the fun part, each of those 625 persons post a MINIMUM 200 letters with my name at #2 and they each only receive 5 replies, that just made me $3,125.00!!! Those 3,125 persons will all deliver this message to 200 newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still 5 persons per 200 newsgroups react I will receive $15,625,00! With a original investment of only $6.00! AMAZING! (looks easy so you are excited and I am certainly excited because I'm going to get your money!)

And as I said 5 responses is actually VERY LOW! (I have to let the greed factor take hold here). Average is probable 20 to 30! So lets put those figures at just 15 responses per person. Here is what you will make: at #6 $15.00 at #5 $225.00 at #4 $3,375.00 at #3 $50,625.00 at #2 $759,375.00 at #1 $11,390,625.00 ($11 million!! for just $6.00. That should have your greed factor going real well now!)

When your name is no longer on the list, you just take the latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another $6.00 to names on the list, putting your name at number 6 again. And start posting again(because you know $11 million won't be enough!)

The thing to remember is, do you realize that thousands of people all over the world are joining the Internet and reading these articles everyday, JUST LIKE YOU are now!! (to let you know you aren't the only one reading and make you feel more comfortable in making me money)

So can you afford $6.00 and see if it really works?? (of course you can) I think so... People have said, "what if the plan is played out and no one sends you the money? So what! (you sent your money and I got it, so I could really care less) What are the chances of that happening when there are tons of new honest users and new honest people who are joining the Internet and newsgroups ever day and are willing to give it a try? (but I have to ease your fears a little bit more, so I tell you there are honest people out there) Estimates are at 20,000 to 50,000 new users, every day, with thousands of those joining the actual Internet. (with huge numbers joining so others are bound to be as gullible as you) Remember, play FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will work (FOR ME AT LEAST!!!!!!).

I realize this post is over one year old, however, I received this type of spammed email recently. So it is again in circulation.

These people love ezboard. They spam constantly. If I were the admin, I'd leave them up, post a response like yours and then have fun with the ridicule.

You know I fell for one of these, but simply cause I had the money to lose. So I lost 5 bucks, and well someone got the money. It's a bunch of bogus crap, believe me.

It sucks to know that the US is full of people that take advantage of others. Examples would be of the crisis of the hurricanes hitting the south east states...
Hopefully people are becoming more aware of the scams and not doing them...
What do you all think of the info-commercials on TV late at night that promise the get rich quick scams..?

FTR - I didn't mean here, I meant in my general boards - boards about parenting, politics, etc. Those boards, it's nice to have a little diversion, something for the regulars to jump on and play with. That can really help to allow some healing after some skirmishes.

I guess the worst part about these, as well as the countless email scams I delete on a daily basis, is that people fall for it- or else they wouldn't be wasting their time trying them.

There is, of course, the email scam where someone in another country needs you to help them get "their" money by putting it into your bank account and they share half with you. You are to send them their half. I keep getting it from some fellow named "Fong" in my junk mail folder. One would think he would get the hint when I don't reply.

I believe what you are referring to are the now infamous Nigerian Prince scam spams.

It's gotten so bad that there are many people online that will attempt to scam the scammers back by making them do crazy things, have them take pictures of it, and then post it on their website for all to see.

For some reason, 419 comes to mind. Here's a quick link to one.
