  • Los Angeles traffic sucks!

It literally took me 2 1/2 hours to travel 35 miles, its gridlocked like nothing I've ever seen, it's been a good 10 years since I've come down here and I'm now reminded why I stay away from it. If you'd like to see it, pop open google maps and take a look. At last we're out of here tomorrow, heading to San Diego then off to vegas.

LA traffic is not that bad compared to other countries. And LA has A LOT of cars too that's why

Oh, that is so true. But, even so--I love visiting LA (and especially San Diego). I am so jealous. Have fun!

I found LA drivers not angry at least. They have given up all hope. So they just sit and do nothing. Other places people get road rage.

Yes so true, I am very surprised that they are very mellow drivers for the traffic, I seem to use foul language much more in the SF Bay Area, they are surprisingly very courteous drivers for the most part

                Is that I-5????

We try to plan the visits accordingly but it never seems to work out.

At least the rain probably toned down the dust a.k.a the stink

We only have one more trip down to close a bank account then no more LA trips

Can't you close the account over the phone, online or fax?

Maybe. I have to go down for something else too or I'd look into it.

Ok, makes sense then since you have to go anyway

This is very old but to follow up, I did end up closing this account over the phone.
They sent me a check. Not sure if that is typical but they didn't make me provide proof of ID
Online banking was never set up. The account only held $20 by the time I got around to it.

I moved to LA from London. LA is pretty bad, but at least not as bad as London!
