  • I had the same reaction years ago when I first joined another financial site. I was out of cash flow in debt and looking for help. I ended up feeling like you and I just left the site for a long time. People sure have opinions, and it made me feel even worse when I was already feeling like a failure when the big picture was visible. Every answer I got seemed to tell me I suck. I already knew that. lol I was trying my best to avoid making you feel that way.

    No matter what you do, people will tell you to do something different. There are some fundamental things that we should agree on, but there is no absolute path with finances. We just want to all end at the same place; self-insured, self-sustaining, and debt free. If you feel uncomfortable but still want to get input for specific things, you're welcome to just make a new account and start over being more reserved. I would like to know if you do so I can remember who I'm talking to.
    Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes that reason is you're stupid and make bad choices.
