  • Most Money Made In A Month

    Hi Everyone,

I'm brand new to this forum, but I a number of people I know have recently told me how they are making money doing various things from home, so I thought I would investigate.

I suppose my initial question is.....what's the most amount of money you have made doing things from home in a single month?

I am curious in the ways in which people do this and how much actual money making potential there is.

    Thanks very much

    Al

    Welcome to the forum, Al.

I'd say the most I made from home-based work was when I was selling on ebay actively. My best month, I had gross sales of about $3,000. Of that, probably around 60-70% was profit.

More recently, it would be the professional surveys I do. My best month with survey income was $1,705. I've had numerous months over $1,000.

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I traded Ericsson, IDCC, and Qualcomm for a month or so back in the day and bagged over $100K trading on my home computer.

Are you a practicing physician? If not, then I wouldn't be able to help you.

I saw in your other post that you're retired so this wouldn't apply to you, though there are various other survey companies that you might be able to do some stuff with. They don't pay nearly as well as the professional ones, though. Harris polls and Pinecone are 2 of the big ones but there are many others.

Just so I understand, when you refer to professional surveys.. you mean that the person taking the surveys has to be a professional such as a doctor, etc?

I belong to lots of survey companies, and rarely do I see anything paying 5.00. Most are for .50 - 1.50, so when I saw you mention 5.00 my ears perked up

Exactly. I belong to a few dozen medical survey company panels. In 2016, I did work for 35 different companies. Most of the surveys are online but I also do some telephone interviews as well as the occasional in person program, sometimes as part of a focus group, sometimes one on one.
