  • disneysteve, you chose the wrong profession

It seems you could have been making anywhere from $1.4 to $21.9 million each year if you had decided to unwrap new Disney toys...

Some of the biggest stars on YouTube may be earning big paychecks for playing with toys and video games.

LOL. Yep, I definitely chose the wrong profession. Maybe it's not too late to switch. That Disney one is a knock off of Ashens, a British YouTuber, who also opens and comments on products. He's quite funny actually. As for the Disney one, I couldn't stand her voice for more than a minute.

My daughter is actually attending VidCon in July in Anaheim. That's the online video industry convention. She'll get to meet a lot of those top YouTubers. Hank and John Green run the conference (Hank was one of the YouTubers who recently got to interview President Obama).

    * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
    * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
    * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

My daughters are big Hank and John Green fans. My oldest donated some of her art to their recent fundraiser and then also bought some art made and signed by John. They are funny guys and obviously well known in some circles.

My daughter loves them. She has autographed posters hanging in her dorm room. She is very excited that she will see them in person - and maybe even get to meet them - at VidCon.
