  • Is ViSalus a scam?

I had a friend introduce me to a new company called ViSalus which does a a Body By Vi Challenge and sells dietary products. I'm wondering if you think this company is a scam or not? They seem to have a number of different dietary products and not just one. The problem I have is that when introduced to me, there was a lot of talk about how much money I could make selling the products rather than how good the products were, although they said they were easy to sell because they are so good. Should I take the sign that making money was emphasized over the product as a red flag? What are you thoughts and has anyone done any research into this company?

If you see red flags, that's a good indication of what the company is all about. A quick check of the company makes it appear to be a classic multi level marketing company. This doesn't mean it's necessarily a scam, but it's probably not something you want to get involved with. This is especially true if they are focusing on how much money you can make by recruiting others (I assume this is what you meant) rather than making money from the products. Simply stay away from these types of business and you'll save yourself a lot of money.
