  • How to make money online?

how can you make money online? A job is the only and best way to make money-surveys and all that jazz are so poorly paid it's not worth the time you waste on them!

There is an entire section here devoted to this subject.

If you're talking about primary employment, just find a company that allows you to work from home. If you have an education in information technology, there are plenty of opportunities to work from home for legitimate companies or by freelancing. There are several companies that do remote control tech support. I worked for one of them part time in the evenings and on the weekends for a couple of years and it was 100% from home. Whatever you do, don't fall for those ads you see that say something like "make X number of dollars a week, a month, a year working from home".

I have a regular 9-5 job, but I also do quite a few other things online that I make money from. None of those things would ever be able to replace the income from my 9-5 position, but it's extra money, so it makes me happy.

I stumbled upon a blog called the penny hoarder a few weeks ago. You might check that out. I got a few good ideas there. Someone here also mentioned SwagBucks in another post, which is something else I started doing recently.

Another thing I do in my spare time is source products that I can buy in bulk and resell on Amazon, Ebay, and Craigslist. This is where I make most of my "extra" income, but it does take some work and it still isn't something that I could use to replace my 9-5 job.

Yes, it's easy to make money solely online or on the side these days -- paid surveys were the only option 10 years ago There's freelancing, investing, virtual assistants, and employment from companies online. More difficult, but still probable to make money with long-term effort is blogging or creating an app/service -- anything that would require a subscription or community. All easy to find, and in some industries, commonplace. It's practical, often times worth the time, but it does include work just like any other job where you have to get out the door in the morning. I've worked online, either part-time or full-time for the last 6 or so years!

I started selling stuff I used to throw out. I drink a lot of wine, and honestly I enjoy Carlo Rossi (cheap decent wine they sell by the 4 liter @ any store). I started saving the old wine jugs and cleaning them out, then posting them on craigs list and selling them for $3.00 to people who want to brew wine/beer, use them for other storage, or whatever. Considering I'm already drinking the wine and they cost $13.00 @ the store, thats a decent return. I'm also about to cut down a tree in my backyard @ the end of the winter, and when I do I'm cutting the logs into Pre-sized sections and turning them into rustic candle holders that go for $20+ a set.

Just have to get creative, none of this stuff I do is self sustaining economic means, but I am always fascinated by what people will pay for and how to produce things for them to purchase. Its always been fun.

            Great idea!

Jeffrey posted recently about people selling acorns online that people buy for craft projects. You really do need to think differently. So much of what we throw out or give away could be sold if you make the effort. With Craigslist, you barely even need to make much effort. People will buy almost anything if the price is right. You'd be surprised. People will buy broken appliances for parts. People will buy cracked dishes for craft projects like mosaics. People will buy fabric scraps for quilting. You just never know unless you try.

            * Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
            * Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?
            * There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going.

I agree with Jenny Morrow. Data Entry jobs, freelance content writing, online tuitions, etc. are some of the ways to earn money online.

Affiliate marketing is your best bet on making cash online. There is a lot of ways to make money online, for example you can sign up on swagbucks and do some activities, or join cashcrate and do surveys all day, or you can do affiliate marketing, make a small one time investment, break even on your first person you recruit, and then get paid a residual income (monthly) and it just goes up every month because it's affiliate marketing.

I know there are several ways to earn online.
Depends on your passion if you are into investing or blogging. I know some are earning by being an artist or programmer.

Hmm that way sounds pretty basic to me. How about affiliating, freelancing things like that.
