  • If you need to quickly make money, what's your go to method?

If you're in the situation where you need to make an extra $25 - $100 fairly quickly, how do you usually accomplish this? Is there something that you always have in cases when you run a bit short on money?

I don't think I have ever in my life been in that situation so I have no experience to offer. If I needed money, I'd just use my credit card. If that wasn't an option for some reason, I would likely borrow the money from someone, most likely my mother probably.

If this was a really short term issue (like didn't have my wallet but out of gas) then I would just borrow from a buddy or something.

If I needed the money now and didn't plan on having it back soon I would sell something of value, for me usually a gun (or ammo).

If I was paid hourly I would just try to grab an extra hour of overtime pay or something (if allowed, wouldn't want to lose a job over it)

If I was better looking I would sell naked pictures of myself

If you have an emergency fund, then you can take out money from that account to meet your immediate needs. Then, later on you can replace that amount in your emergency account.

If you have any skills or talent, try to find some online projects through freelancers websites.
There are tons of jobs that doesn't takes a lot of time. give them a try.

I think I'd look for something to sell on Craigslist, as my first go to idea, if I didn't have an EF, a credit card, or someone to borrow from. I'd would hope it would be something in demand that could sell quickly.

Excellent suggestions! The only thing I'd add is that if I ever found myself in that situation, once I had dealt with the immediate problem I'd make & execute a plan to make sure that it never happened again.
