Paid to click sites are definitely not worth it as they will eat away all your time and your earnings will be so low it will make you want to cry. Better start something legitimate online like a site or a blog and build it up over time. At least with a site or a blog you know you are not wasting your time as all of the effort will pays off in the end.

I really don't like this whole "micro-work" industry. Your time is so much more valuable than that. Pick a topic you love and blog about it. In time, this can become your online business.
To earn money in the short-term, look at something like arbitrage. Seek out heavily discounted deals in your locality or online and find a marketplace where the same product sells for more e.g. buy at a local auction, sell on eBay or vice-versa.

Based on my experience, I would say that none of the online jobs (other than tutoring) really make you money. Paid surveys are the worst scammers. Most of the time , they will jam you saying you do not fit their profile or they suddenly end in the middle of a survey. The compensation for all on-line work is measly. It is not worth the time and effort. I for one, definitely prefer getting out of the house and working on-site even if it is a part-time job. It helps you to come in contact with other individuals which itself is a big plus. There is a possibility of relocating to a better job or better employer and the pay is worth it.

Neobux has been around for many many years and is known for paying their members. It is a legit PTC and it doesn't scam. I agree it's not worth your time though.Originally posted by frugalharry View PostI never tried joining PTC sites because most of them don't stay for long. You'll get scammed all the time. It's not worth your time I think.
There are other legit sites out there but still, the earnings are low.
If you want to make real money online, there is a few ways to do it. You can blog, which will pay through advertisement, it will pay you through Adsense most likely, same with YouTube, you get paid through Adsense. You can also do affiliate marketing, usually takes a few bucks to start, but with most affiliate marketing companies you break even with your first referral, so if you can get one referral in your first 30 days, you're breaking even, and from that point on you are making profit, which is a residual (monthly) income.

I used to be active on this site since it is really paying. But I give up on it since the referrals I bought or rented there are usually not active so it was just waste of time. If I would just click there without active referrals, it would take longer to reach for their payout. Neobux that time does not have offers or other things to earn more than PTC.

I use a combination of Swagbucks, InstaGC & Bing Rewards. I usually do it while I'm at work of if I'm bored at home. And I just use them for Amazon gift cards to purchase things I really don't "need". So to me it's worth it, I guess it all depends if you're looking for a dependable income source or not. I've made close to $100 just in 3-4 months between the 3 sites. I tend to avoid surveys, I don't have the paitence for them.
