  • What's the strangest way you have made money?

Have you ever made money in strange ways? Or better yet, what is the strangest or unusual way that you have ever made money in the past?

I did some nude modeling for art classes for awhile. It wasn't nearly as bad as I first imagined, but a lot more difficult than I imagined. It's really hard to keep the same position for long periods while being sketched.

Not sure if it's unusual, but I sold pot in college. Maybe it's unusual because I have never, ever smoked it.

I used to hunt for golfballs in the roughs, and sell them back to the golfers. It was fun to run away from the golf pro when he saw us. We were cutting in to his clubhouse profits.

I was the Easter Bunny at the mall in high school for a couple of weekends. I have also done a few medication clinical trials. I am really interested in medical research, so I find it to be kind of cool to be involved in that capacity.

Not sure if this is unusual but I go to yard sales and get older video games and used men's clothing. I turn around and sell it on ebay more than what i paid for it.

Most of the people at yard sales do not know the value of their items so they practically give it away for nothing. I've made plenty on eBay doing this.

Most of the simply just emphasize and their target is to achieve higher goals at rummage revenue do not know the value of their products so they essentially provide it with away for nothing. I've seen most persons who have been doing this.

I have sold an old sega mega cd on ebay and was pretty much surprised how well the auction went. I have sold it 5 times more expensive than I bought it. I googled it after that and found out that it was a limited edition which I wasn`t aware of.

In high school, I worked at a horsebarn, cleaning stalls and anything else they needed. In college, I would go to a day labor place and work odd jobs.

It is very funny and unusual, back then I would exchange old newspapers for street merchants and get paid. I think they used them to sell their products or something, each time I remember it I just laugh out loud.

I once made money by throwing a ball for a dog at the park. Some old guy was too tired to do it so he offered me $10 to exercise his dog for half an hour.

In 1969 I worked in the PlayBoy Mansion moving furniture and pulling up the summer carpet so it could be cleaned and put into storage.

I worked on a seismograph crewing as a jug hustler - the guy who lays out the lines from the recording trailer across the area to be tested; that summer I also worked on the drilling crew, hauling water around, prepping the blasting powder and dropping it into the hole. When the charge was set off, the lines I set as jug hustler would record the ground movement.
