It's all about traffic. You can't just put up a site and start selling and expect to make money. You need to build that the site so that you get traffic who will be interested in buying whatever you're reselling. That takes a lot of time and effort. Personally, I think there are a lot easier ways to make a buck that take much less time and effort.

i know it takes much time to build traffics of a site, and i need to do seo etc to get more visitors. but it is one of the jobs you can do at home, right?

I agree with lorraineb. Just putting up a site and expecting to make a sale off every potential visitor is not the way to go. But it sounds like you are prepared to MAKE it work. That is a good thing because it takes time to get people to trust you, your site, your product and your recommendations.

And yes you can do it from home (or anywhere else). That's the beauty of it. No commuting to work and all those nasty things. But on the flip side it takes a lot of dedication and willpower to make your online business or work from home business a success.

Note that it is a business and it should be treated as such. Anything else and you might have the same kind of laid back results... Be serious about it if you get into it.

Affiliate marketing is an easy way to get started. Choose something that you love and have a passion for. That way you'll love what you do and it will be easier to help others. On the other hand you can start creating your own products like an ebook, guide or video series on a specific topic you know a lot about/ are passionate about.

People go online to get information for a specific problem or situation. If you can help them out, with your information, content, product or affiliate product and they find value in what you delivered then you'll be THA MAN/WOMAN. The goal with your internet marketing effort should be to help others and to over deliver on anything you provide/promise, always. Visitors will find value and they'll come back for more.

There are many ways and many programs online to make money. You should really examine any option to make money before jumping into the program.

You all have heard this---the money is in the list. After trying to make money using different affiliate programs, I finally started building a list. Someone on your list will purchase from you or listen to what you have to offer, it just takes time. You have to promote yourself first, then promote your offer.

Hell yea, but it really all depends on you. If you drop off before it starts to roll then it definitely will be just a waste of your time. It also depends on your affiliate.

In order to be a good affiliate marketer, you will have to choose a handful of good products. Also, you know how to use the various traffic sources to promote products. You should also research the demand of the product that you will be selling. In order to earn more money by becoming an affiliate, you can take help of various helpful tools available online.

If you can get enough traffic then you can sell pretty much anything and make good amount of money. Google adsense and Amazon are the best services.
