Pizza delivery as a part time job

Hello everyone on the forum. I'm a big saver and its great to see other like minded people out there. For the last 14 years I've been working full time as a delivery driver for a high end pizza pasta sandwich restaurant. For the last three years I've been a 10% owner of it as well.
Anyway, I would recommend pizza delivery as a possibility for those looking for part time work. However, I would only work at places that are fairly busy, and at places where you can deliver more than one order at a time, and places that are fairly low crime. Most places are looking for people to work evenings, so if you have a day job,it folds in nicely with that. I would avoid the bigger national chains and look for the smaller regional ones, or better yet, the independent places.

if it pays enough, it's worth the effort. Normally delivery jobs don't pay much, though.

I worked in Pizza Delivery as a teenager and took home about $500/week cash. Not bad for an evening job. I also worked for a company that set up contracts with a lot of local restaurants. He was quite successful.

My brother was a pizza delivery driver. He made good tips but always complained about gas money. I know I couldn't work as one because I'd easily get lost.

I have a friend who delivers pizza on a part-time basis. He says it's a great way to make money on the side.

I think its a great part time job. I used to do long ago and the money wasn't bad either. It will depend on the area you are serving though. Some areas tend to net you more tips because of the kind of folks live in those areas.

A significant idea as a part time job

Anybody having a valid driving license and a delivery car can work in the flexible hours including evenings, weekends. If you are enjoying it and earning extra according to your need then you may continue otherwise it is to quit.
