How to create a second income stream?

I would like to ask for your opinion here, I hope you can enlighten me with some ideas.

I have a solid income stream, I've been a Senior Web Developer for several years, with a steady job, but I would like to create a second income stream, and I read that there are some ways to make money on the internet, so it made me think... should I start investing time in something like that?

Do you guys know something about how to make money online? is it reliable and long term? What can you say to me about it?

The real challenge is building a site that tens of thousands or more of people will benefit from visiting frequently. The Internet is like paper...it's what you put on it. How can you help?

I have something worthwhile

Hi,

I'm in a similar situation and finally found something great to do. I'm an eLearning Developer and work full-time. I make pretty good money but extra income can always come in handy, no matter what the situation. Just to pay off bills or save for a rainy day. Be careful though, there are so many scams out there and you really have to watch what you select. The only problem with building a website or blog to promote what you already do is that you have to put a lot of time and effort in after your already hard working day doing the same darn thing. It gets old real quick. I wanted something that I would spend a few hours here and there or as much or as little as I wanted. The thing I don't want to do the most is trying to talk people into buying or selling something. I do not want to sell people anything. So I did stumble across something really good and not only do you not have to sell people products but it builds residual down the line. I'm new on this board and I know in the rules it says not to post links to your sites for the first few weeks. I'm certainly not a scammer, nor do I break the rules.
