  • Selling books..And trying to make a little money.

Mind, I've been trying to sell some stuff I don't need. Part of it is some books I got for gifts and I turned out not to like very much. (I'm a huge sci-fi/fantasy nut, but not all is to my taste.)

I figure I can try to sell them on Amazon or Ebay and get a few bucks out of them. Any tips on selling books? Mind, I've tried other sites and they won't take them. Maybe because they already had too many.

Also I have way too many crafting materials that I'm not going to use. Been trying to sell them on Etsy, tho if anyone has any tips on that I'm all ears. ^^

Other options may be Half Priced Books or some other local bookstore that is willing to buy them back. You certainly won't make much money off of it, but you can clean them out of your house and get a few extra bucks from it.

I sell a fair number of books on half.com. It is really simple to list them. When I have books that aren't worth anything (75 cents on half.com) I just give them to Goodwill and take the tax deduction.

I'll try that disney if I can't get them to sell on Amazon. A little money and get them off my shelf is better than no money.

thesimplemoneyblog: There IS no Half Price Books in Atlanta that I know of. I know there was one nearby when we lived in Texas, but not here. We really live in the woods. Best I could do is go to Douglasville books and trade them in for store credit. (They don't give much.) That's a last resort. ^^
