1. Take a “day laborer” job. Check out the classifieds for listings looking for day laborers. Often times contractors are looking for people to do some type of manual labor for a short duration, even as short as one day. It could be cleaning up a job site on a new build, or tossing bricks up to guys on a scaffold. You’ll probably earn minimum wage, or only slightly better, but for a couple days work you could clear $100.

2. Sell Your DVD Collection on Ebay. Seriously, how many of those DVDs do you really watch repeatedly? I can count on one hand the ones I would want to keep, but the rest could be sold and I’d never miss them.

5. Hold a yard sale. One of the faster ways to raise cash is to hold a yard sale. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on advertising. Simply buy a few pieces of brightly-colored poster board and a fat magic marker. Write “YARD SALE” in bold letters, followed by the times and your street address. The idea i am gonna give you will be absolutely suitable for you. Here is a procedure.

1. Open a paypal account
2. Go to any affiliate site which pays per downloads of their software. eg. (cashmylink, clickbank etc.)
3. sign up and they will provide you an affiliate link which you will have to promote through your blog or website.

In that way you can even earn $100 a day!

Pray. We are often given unexpected, small sums of money by friends and family.
Sell something on Craig’s List or Ebay. We only have a couple of items that are worth that much and that we would be willing to part with, but we could get most of the money in a pinch this way.
Roll it over to the next month. Use part of our emergency fund to care for the immediate expense and then make sure that we cover it in a future month. Get it today and then figure out how to pay for it later.
Find a freelance job. I have experience in painting, roofing and wood finishing. I am confident that if I needed to make extra money in the evenings or weekends, that I could pull it off.
Qualify for a bank bonuses or credit card rewards. I am trying to avoid this particular revenue stream right now, but this is how we solved our money problem last year.

I dunno about long term job but you can try Cafepress.com to try and make some quick money, you basically design designs to put on t-shirts and mugs and other stuff and when people buy the design you get a small percentage of the overall sale.

Work. Here are some ideas:
Mow lawns.
Shovel snow.
Ask your neighbors if you can collect their recyclables and take them to the recycling center.
Go to garage sales and look for stuff you can repair/clean up and resell. Offer to haul away things that did not sell at garage sales and repair/clean them up and resell.
