Sorry to hear you are having a miserable time at work... I have been there. It sucks.

You work 70-80 hrs a week or month? You said if you are lucky you get 80 hours....How is that lucky unless we are talking about per month.

Anyway never quit a job until you are 110% sure you have another one to go to.

      Advice On Quitting Your Job

Just incase you are still working and still contemplating about quitting. You never quit a job until you either have a new job that is guaranteed. If you really want to complete your studies will you have a part-time job to sustain you until you finish school.

If you're interested in working on line there are a lot of jobs out there but you have to consider start-up cost, how long will it take you before you truly see an income. You need to get your goals in order both short term and long term. What are your qualifications as far as working on line.

In the future you may want to consider Owning Your Own Business even while you are working or perhaps in school. You always need a Plan B just incase Plan A doesn't work out and sometimes Plan B becomes your Plan A.

I have a Business and we have young adults your age who are very successful in the Business.

If you wanna make more money by business you must need to take chances to risk your money. But I would suggest you only to invest a portion of those so that you might not loss all of them in one instant.

I make $9 an hour. I really hate my job and I'm thinking about quitting really soon. I'm looking for advice on how to make money through either investing or starting an internet business. I'm conflicted if I should quit my job right now to focus on an internet business or quit to focus on obtaining an associates degree (I'm close). I really need to quit my job either way because the people I work with are exceedingly unpleasant, working 3rd shift is torture, and there are no true advancement options. I’ve only worked less than 3 months for this company so it is obviously upsetting to quit so soon, but living at home, my age, and having more room to take risks helps alleviate the discomfort of the situation. I currently have around $2500 saved in my checking and would like to grow this money into a more respectable number. I know it’s not a lot, but I’m looking to invest this money any way that will yield a decent return. Should I risk my money by starting an internet publishing company, which will likely call for a loan of some kind or should I invest in mutual funds or even lending clubs? I’m really lost at what to do with myself. Any advice at all is appreciated.
I would find a new full time job before quitting, and if you're looking to start a business/invest full time, I would start small and do it part time. Reason being is that you still have income from a full time job which helps carry you through the times were you're not making money or losing money from your other activities.

At least it works for me. I'm more comfortable with a fixed full time salary + business income than I'd be with going 100% business.

I was thinking he was talking per pay period since he said full time. So 70-80 per 2 week cycle. I could be wrong.
