I started my own pet sitting business when I was 24 and about a year out of college. I did it bc I already hated cubicle work and wanted to be outside. Best thing I did for myself, though I took some financial risks and eventually filed for bankruptcy (I was completely irresponsible with money and had gotten myself too deeply into debt and had little income while trying to start my business)
Luckily my business took off and was quite lucrative for me but I went about it all wrong. Still wasn't responsible with money and did not keep proper track of income and expenses. however the only reason I don't have my business anymore is that I moved back to my home state and it doesn't have a market here.
In short I've learned many Lessons since having that business and it's def a good one to start IF you can be motivated, responsible, and mature about itt.
