Buying and selling used cell phones for cash. I actually started a website teaching the basics of how to do it.....it is extremely profitable if you are the only game in town. Seems like more and more people are discovering this but it only takes a few minutes a day, it's almost passive income.

I have been doing Etsy with great success selling things. I have also been doing Fiverr which for the most part has been great. My advice: be VERY specific about what your customer is getting because often (especially with graphics) your customers will change their mind so I have now put "only minor changes will be at no extra cost like color changes or item placement if you don't like the mascot or the over all design or the size you must put in another order" because you only get $4 per gig so you have to take into account if it's worth your time and sometimes I spend up to an hour doing one gig for $4 it's good if I have nothing else to do but sometimes it's not worth your time. Other advice: make sure what you offer is something you can do quickly or with little work so that it is worth it to you to get only $4 for it. I had to do a forced cancel on one of my customers because he/she lied to me about owning the copyrights to a design they wanted me to copy (which is illegal) he/she was demanding, wasn't descriptive at all, had poor grammar, would change their mind, etc it was a bad experience and I took the bad rating because I just didn't want to deal with it anymore.

If you can write, you can post articles on almost any subject on hubpages.com and make money from Google Adsense and Amazon Affiliate programs there. If you like to write reviews, then Epinions is also a source of income.

Selling blood is very popular every year at the start of the semester. People need book money, and the blood bank companies know it, as they are always handing out flyers on campus this time of year.

ChaCha.com is also a great part-time-on-your-own-time thing to do, sure it's pennies per question, but some here and some there pays for small college expenses.

Getting paid to write articles, as has already been mentioned, is also very popular on campus.

I was going to college, my parents paid for my tuition and board, but left me to my own devices when it came to extra spending money. Like every other college student I know, I needed to make extra money for going out with friends, Paying my cell phone bill etc.. I heard that there are even more ways of making money online that didn't even exist when I was going to college. Of course if we want to make any kind of money, its going to take time, perseverance, and a good work ethic.If we are willing to dedicate ourself to some of these money making ideas, We can potentially earn a lot more than working traditional jobs.

Tutoring is a great way to make money during school, especially if you're good at a class that most people struggle with but a lot of people have to take, like biochem. There are also tutoring sites where you can sign up to advertise your services and students or, more likely, parents contact you to tutor their kids. You can get your clients to write reviews which help you move to the top of the results listing.
