Although I am not there yet, I was reading an article on fiverr about someone that purchased a house doing things for other people at $5 a job. There is definitely money to be made out there. Doing tasks and chores seems to be the latest fad.

Making money is possible by starting a website (preferable in weblog form).
Write about a subject you really like and know a lot of.
When you have say 6 large posts with useful information for your visitors
you could go to Google Adsense to open an account.
After approval you have their ads on your website.
Every time a visitor clicks on it you get paid.
Besides these ads you can open accounts at affiliate networks
and have affiliate links in your content.
You get commission when a visitor buys something or subscribes to something.
To get visitors to your site you need traffic.
Start asking your friends/family members who have a blog, website or social media accounts
      to link to your website.
Also submit your website to the search engines and other sites.

I sell items on ebay. I have purchased wholesale items and made a nice margin on ebay. I have also set up some WordPress blogs and monetized them with affiliate ads. My best blog so far is an acne site that makes money from a a Proactiv ad.

My niece makes artisan jewelry and other crafts that she sells on her website. She also sells what I make and it's amazing how much she is able to make.

I was able to quit my job in about a year of starting in affiliate marketing. I got into some niche markets and was able to replace my income that way.

I do this by creating simple blogs and then ranking them in the search engine.

You simply do some keyword research, find a niche, create a blog based on that niche, monetize with affiliate products/links and then build traffic. That is what I use and what I did to quit.

I had to start in affiliate marketing part-time as well because I worked quite a bit away from home. So if you stick with it you can make it happen as well.

I work for an online employment agency. After going through the sign up process, you can look through their list of available jobs. The variety of jobs and schedules is amazing and most can be done internationally and online. Applying and getting the jobs take effort, but eventually you can end up with a steady income.

I guess my approach was wrong and it came off being SPAMMY. Also, I know a lot of people out there just care about pushing their business and not about the community they're involved in.

I am one of the most frugal people I know and I'm just trying to think of ways to help other people who are just like me - this forum appears to be the right place and I empathize with a lot of people here...

Sorry to you and to anyone who thinks I'm here to SPAM this forum... Not the case - I just want to find ways to save money and to share my knowledge!
Understood. However, you should read the rules before make a forum posting!

I own a commercial web site grossing over 4 million annually. It was a rough start but it's going great now.

Amazon also has a commercial website that generates billions. As for the rest of us, most people would just like to know how to generate even $100/month.

I've generated about $20k total online so far but Ive spent that much too just learning how. But I am hanging in there, and feel like I will be in profit by that much and more in the future
