Is it for 'keeping up with the Jones'? or keeping up with the Jones in reverse. It all looks interesting until you start comparing yourself with others. One of the things that is nice with this forum is about helping folks where they or at, or getting encouragement for the money goals we have.

2 thoughts:

1. Why, in the name of all that is holy, would anyone link all of their financial accounts at a site like this? I'm assuming that requires turning over account numbers and passwords? Do they ask you to hand over the keys to your house while you're at it?

2. I found this as part of the sales pitch: "Status allows all of us to make smarter financial decisions by harnessing the collective knowledge of the crowd." I immediately had the very sarcastic thought: Because ... you know ... the crowd has never been wrong.
