  • Help!!!!

My question is this.... I am no longer employed with the company I worked for and I won't get my ESOP payout until November. I worked for the company for a few days shy of 7 years, however my payout will still be a large sum. Who can I contact to help me borrow against my ESOP and get cash immediately? Are there any lenders that will loan against a future payment? My husband just lost his job in Monday and we need finances to pay our rent, bills, car payment, and to be able to live. We also have a child. if anyone has any advice or answers please respond ASAP. Thank you

My first call would be to the plan. With the esop plan I was in, the company bought the shares on the set day and I had the rights to do what I wanted with the shares the same day, a lot of co workers needed money also and sold immediately for a profit

      Help!!!

Thank you 97guns for your advice. I did contact my HR department but they said I can't get to it until November but I just thought I'd see if anyone knew any other options. I'll call the plan itself and talk to them.
