We pulled out 14k of our Emergency fund savings to Betterment with 60/40 asset allocation. Betterment recommend a target allocation of 40/60 but we are comfortable at this risk level. While I was happy having $30k parked in savings, it's too much $$ seating earning nothing. We also cash out our acorns to add in Betterment.

And WE just removed our money from Betterment this week because of the fee increase starting June 1.
As long as you would really be comfortable losing 25% in one year (remembering that those years frequently correspond to job cut backs) then it is a great decision for you.
