I actually never worry about unlocking phones I sell. I just sell them as whatever carrier they were for when we used them. That said, we've always had the big carriers (AT&T, Verizon, etc), so maybe it's different for a Cricket phone.

since they cost $2, maybe I'll try selling them locked first. I cannot believe anyone actually chooses to buy this phone, it was really bad.
