I have some money from a pension investment plan that has closed and now I need to roll over that money over into an IRA. I was given a name of someone from American Century to talk to about the process. He seemed nice and knowledgeable, and is willing to help me, but I wanted to make sure this company was the best one to handle it. I looked online for reviews and best companies for roll over IRAs and American Century was not listed on any of them. I am looking for advice on what company to go with. and information on the process. There is about 25K that needs to be rolled over. I do not want to have to manage it myself ... I know next to nothing about these matters. I just want this money in a safe place that will grow over the next 10 to 20 years. I'm looking for a reputable company that will advise me and manage the money.

Call Vanguard. Their number is 800-319-4254 or you can do it online at Vanguard.com, but calling would be a good idea if you aren't sure what you're doing.Steve

Fidelity is another good option.
You'll need to provide some basic info.
You may also have to contact your former employer or the firm that holds the account to make sure that you are coded as a "former employee." They won't release the funds until you are no longer listed as an active employee.Brian
