I paid off a credit card back in november that i had for 4.5 years. It was took me that long to pay it off. I was proud of myself, and will do my best to avoid a credit card, and pay cash for things.
jkl08, I would suggest that you start a blog. I think that would be a more appropriate place for you to continue to post random thoughts that pop into your head.
This is a discussion forum. It's a place intended more for people to ask questions and get answers, or post information that they feel would be beneficial to others.

* Despite the high cost of living, it remains very popular.
* Why should I pay for my daughter's education when she already knows everything?

I agree with Steve - a blog would be a good idea. Blogs seem to be more active than the forums some times these days!
Also - good luck with that! Living without a credit card in this day and age is extremely difficult and you'll often be placed at a great disadvantage and incur a lot of unnecessary fees.
I use my credit cards responsibly and pay them off in full every month and reap hundreds of dollars in rewards!
