Play it smart. Get collateral, and have a signed agreement.
In the long run, the odds are that doing so could ruin your friendship.
At the same time, loaning the money could.
But not loaning could too, which is sad and happens as well.
If you decide to borrow it to her, make sure you have something in writing that is signed.
