After a year of debating whether to keep our current home, sell or refi, we have decided to REFI to a 15 year fixed conforming loan (Fannie or Sallie). We went on Zillow to search for lenders based on lowest interest rate for refi @ 2.875 0 points. Both of our credit score 823. We received a call immediately from Andrew and provided GFE and got our paperwork started.
We have not done a refi in over 10 years. The refi is to lock into a fixed rate 15 yr since we have been in adjustable interest for 10 years. We are expecting April 30th date to close escrow. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using this lender based in New Jersey. What information we should be looking for or asking our loan officer. It seems pretty straightforward (3 years tax return, paystub, and bank statement).
