No doubt, these all are going to give you positive results, but I don't think it is the only way to save money. I don't get the concept of saving money from your existing fund by cutting costs (as not eating in restaurants, etc.) I think you should think about some more money earning ways.

Yes, exactly I am also not in favor of cutting expenses and saving money, you need to get some other way to get more money. Yes, if you think you are spending more than you need, then it is good to cut it out.Originally posted by RudolfLesko View PostNo doubt, these all are going to give you positive results, but I don't think it is the only way to save money. Welcome to the forums! Not sure where it was implied this was the only way to save money.Originally posted by RudolfLesko View PostNo doubt, these all are going to give you positive results, but I don't think it is the only way to save money. I requested to join. I think this summer or fall may be best for us. We are in a big cycle of spending right now it seems. I'd like to say it is all necessities, but I'm sure we could improve if we try a month of no spending. I really need to get my husband on board. Just last week he bought three books from Barnes and Noble. Granted they were in the bargain bin, but 3? He takes forever to read, so that should do him for at least a year. I'm a library girl myself.Originally posted by Eagle View PostAlmost 4000 people in this group now. Join the movement! Learn to live with less!
