I had a friend to recommend to me to get an adjustable mortage b/c my credit was bad I am so glad I decided to waite and pay down debt as well as save because in my eyes interest can only go up not down, per souls

Someone at work at told me about a foreclosure thing people do now too - they find a new house that they like, stop making payments on current house and save up 4-6 mos worth of mortgage payments. They sign on new house just before old house goes into foreclosure - now they don't have to sell a house. I was pretty appaulled by the conversation that people would do this but I don't know why I was shocked.

It's a lose-lose situation. Except I guess for some investor that's been waiting for these types of opportunities to snatch up houses cheap. Of course cheap today was expensive three years ago...

By the way, in German, the word for poor is arm.
