  • New financial blogs/websites

I have followed several financial blogs/columns/websites for many years. Does anyone have new websites/blogs you are excited about? I feel like the same information is being rehashed only worded differently. I'm bored with the same information. Which blogs/websites motivate and inspire you to do better/reach your goals/provide new information?

I know what you mean. I follow Dave Ramsey quite a bit, but obviously he's more of a talk show host. Is there really much difference in how to manage money? I understand you can put different spins on it and gear the info towards a certain group/age.

I've started a finance blog this past week or two. I'm planning on eventually gearing it more towards college kids, but the information found will hopefully be applicable to most ages.

Well, this stuff isn't rocket science. Once you have the basics of budgeting/investing down, there just isn't much "new" content to be had.

I come here for personal budgeting/finance. I suggest bogleheads.org for investing.

I actually got very motivated by the Planting Our Pennies blog (plantingourpennies.com). It's not so much an advice blog as it is a "this is what we're doing and here's how it's working for us" blog, but there are a lot of good tips regardless, and some interesting insights both on the blog and the comments.

Like AggieLife I recently started a blog. It's in my signature below.

A lot of personal finance information is common sense, getting rid of bad habbits, and learning new good habits.
