Saving money without cutting back a bit

If you bought something that you could use a coupon for, you'd have even more savings. It's not an either or situation. I'd say use both if you have the option.

Absolutely. I wish I could use the coupons. I've got several very good ones sitting on the table at home but they aren't any good for this particular purchase.

I have been meaning to thank you for posting this for quite a while. I recently bought a dicks card for 23.7% off and have saved upwards of 300 bucks so far on items I would have purchased anyway. I hope it lasts

I'm glad to hear that.

When you register for these sites, you will periodically get emails when they are having a "sale" and offering certain cards at a higher than usual discount. I've grabbed some even better deals when that was happening.

That's good if you want another card. I thought about getting one of those but never did. With gift cards, I can save 4% on the card plus I charge the card purchase to my rewards credit card so I essentially end up with 5% anyway.

Doesn't AAA offer a Target discount? I don't shop at Target often, but I was thinking it was 5%, just for showing your AAA card.
