I dont get the car thing as a status indicator I think a car is only worth the price if it is useful. I do admit I bought a SUV and that it wasnt the best choice but I do enjoy going camping and it has its use. I should have gotten a fuel efficient car that was probably half what I paid for my car. I dont regret my choice because I love my vehicle I just could have been smarter because I cannot afford to go camping enough as of right now but I will have this vehicle in the future to do these things maybe when im done paying down my SL.

I should note that I am about 6 foot and 270 and a small car like a 2 door honda civic would not have worked well for me so I would have been looking at bigger cars to begin with. The SUV fits my size well which in the past was not the case previous car was a 2 door dodge avenger and that was very low to the ground and very tiny. Sometimes you have to look for cars that fit you as well.

This is how I roll, 2007 Dodge truck. Bought it brand new in 2007 from Dodge dealer after seeing an advertisement for $13,999, they had 5 at that price. The Sunday paper had the auto classified section where they have lots of new vehicles at low prices, so I took the newspaper with me and to my amazement they had 4 left at that price (gray, white, black, brown). Automatic transmission with A/C and all else basic (ie, roll up windows, manual door locks, no cruise control, etc) but for the price I'm not complaining.
