    When you cook something and it doesn't turn out good, do you still eat it?

    It depends how badly it turns out.

      I usually try to eat it, but as DS said it depends on how bad it is.

        I try to eat it, just so it's not wasted, but if it's just really bad, it will start to sit untouched for more & more days, then I'll finally throw it out when I know there's no hope.

          Eat 99+% of the time. That is prob because I am an experienced, touch cook. I can look at a recipe and make substitutions 9zuchinni for cuke) and also recognize that I prefer additional savory (garlic, onion....) seasonings.

            I can recall only three total failures in my three decades of cooking, which I reluctantly threw out. Almost everything else has been considered good enough to eat by my husband, whose taste buds, bless his heart, are more forgiving than mine.
